Modifying course added using UI

When the source of the course added is "Manual Entry", these courses can be modified using the UI.

Update course configuration

We can edit the configuration of course like adding logos or editing course slug

  1. Click on three dot button to open the menu and click Edit course option

  2. A side panel with all the available course configurations will be displayed.

Add chapter or page

To add chapter or page, select the course that needs to be modified

  • Click on the Add new chapter button to create a chapter and select the type of chapter that is suitable for your content.

  • Similarly, you can click on + Add new page button present with the chapter name to add a page to chapter.

Change order of pages or chapters

You can reorder the position of the chapter or page by dragging them to the position you want.

Edit slug of the chapter or page

You can edit the slug of the chapters or pages of the course.

To edit the slug of the chapter/page of a course.

  1. Open the course you want to modify.

  2. Select the chapter/page you want to change the slug value. This will open the editor UI

  3. Select the settings icon in top right corner to open the settings panel for the chapter/page

    You can appy the same steps to modify chapter slug

Add/Edit chapter or page content

To edit or add the content of page or chapter, click on it to open it in editor. Content added will be saved in draft state. You can publish it by clicking the Publish button. You can also preview the content before publishing it.

Please note that UI doesn't allow to modification of courses whose source is github, to modify such courses check Modifying course added using GitHub.
